How do I get started with Lasting Bloom?

Simply download the app and start using it. There's no account creation, registration, or personal information required. The app is designed to work immediately for anyone who needs it.

Does the app work offline?

Absolutely. Lasting Bloom is designed to work completely offline. All your data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database, so you can access all features even without an internet connection.

How do age-adaptive prompts work?

When you set your age range in the app, Lasting Bloom adapts its wellness prompts, routine suggestions, and movement activities to be appropriate for your life stage. This ensures relevant support at every age.

Can I use the app without tracking daily check-ins?

Absolutely. Lasting Bloom respects that wellness looks different for everyone. You can use the memory builder, encouragement library, and movement prompts without tracking anything if you prefer.

How do notifications work?

Notifications are scheduled locally via iOS. There's no push service or remote notification servers. All reminders stay on your device, and you have complete control over notification settings.

Can I delete my data?

Yes, you have complete control. Go to Settings > Data & Privacy > Delete All Data. This will permanently remove all your wellness data from the app. There's no cloud backup, so deletion is permanent. You can also delete the app, and your data is gone.

Is the app really private?

Yes. Lasting Bloom collects no personal information, requires no accounts, and stores all data locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database. Your wellness journey stays completely private.

Which devices are supported?

Lasting Bloom is built for iOS 16+. iPad support is planned for future updates. The app is designed specifically for iPhone with privacy-first architecture.

Troubleshooting

App won't open

Try restarting your device. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app. Your data is stored locally, so you'll need to export it first if you want to preserve it (export feature coming soon).

Data seems to be missing

Check if you're on the same device where you created the data. The app stores data locally, so it won't sync across devices. If you've recently updated the app, try restarting it.

Notifications not working

Go to your device settings and ensure Lasting Bloom has notification permissions. Also check that Do Not Disturb mode is off and the app isn't in battery optimization mode.

App feels slow

Try closing other apps to free up memory. If you have a lot of data, consider deleting old entries. The app is designed to be lightweight, so performance should be smooth.

Can't access certain features

Make sure you've completed the initial setup. Some features may require you to set your age range first. If you're still having trouble, try restarting the app.
