How do I get started with Weiguru?

Simply download the app and start using it. There's no account creation, registration, or personal information required. The app is designed to work immediately and completely offline.

Does the app work offline?

Absolutely. Weiguru is designed to work completely offline. All your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite, so you can access all features even without an internet connection.

How does privacy work in Weiguru?

Your data never leaves your device. All wellness data, reflections, mood tracking, meal plans, and movement logs are stored locally in a SQLite database on your device. No cloud storage, no tracking, no data transmission.

Can I export my data?

Yes! You can export all your wellness data as a JSON file. Go to Settings > Data & Privacy > Export Data. This allows you to backup your data or share it with healthcare providers if needed.

How do I delete my data?

You have complete control. Go to Settings > Data & Privacy > Delete All Data. This will permanently remove all your wellness data from the app. There's no cloud backup, so deletion is permanent.

What is CBT and how does it relate to Weiguru?

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach. Weiguru incorporates CBT principles in the Cognitive Reframe Trainer and the 8-week CBT Education curriculum to help you understand and reframe unhelpful thought patterns.

Are the movement exercises accessible?

Yes! Every movement in our library has seated, standing, and floor options. We believe wellness should be accessible to all bodies and all abilities. You can customize movements based on your needs.

Do you track calories or weight?

No. Weiguru focuses on mindful eating, behavioral patterns, and how you feel—not calorie counting or weight tracking. We understand your patterns without judgment or metrics.

Is there a subscription fee?

Weiguru uses a one-time purchase or free model with optional in-app purchases. There's no subscription required, and the app works fully offline from day one.

Troubleshooting

App won't open

Try restarting your device. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app. Your data is stored locally, so you'll need to export it first if you want to preserve it.

Data seems to be missing

Check if you're on the same device where you created the data. The app stores data locally, so it won't sync across devices. If you've recently updated the app, try restarting it.

App feels slow

Try closing other apps to free up memory. If you have a lot of data, consider exporting and starting fresh. The app is designed to be lightweight, so performance should be smooth.

Can't access certain features

Make sure you've completed the initial setup. Some features unlock as you progress through the CBT curriculum. If you're still having trouble, try restarting the app.

Export not working

Make sure you have storage permissions enabled. Go to your device settings and ensure Weiguru has permission to save files. Then try exporting again.

Movement exercises won't display

Ensure the app has completed its initial setup. Try restarting the app or clearing the cache. All movements are stored locally, so they should be available offline.
