Agreement

By downloading or using Notara, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be able to enter a binding agreement in your region. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, a parent or guardian must permit use.

What Notara Provides

Notara provides software to record and organise information on your device. It is provided "as is" and "as available." Features may change with updates.

No Legal or Professional Advice

Nothing in the app or on matthewkerr.org is legal, medical, or professional advice. You are responsible for how you use your records and exports.

Your Content

You retain rights to the content you create. You are responsible for its accuracy and for complying with laws when you record, store, or share information about others.

Acceptable Use

Do not use Notara for unlawful harassment, stalking, or to harm others. Do not attempt to break the app's security or others' devices.

Exports and Sharing

When you export or share data, you choose the channel (email, cloud storage, etc.). Matthew Kerr is not responsible for those third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Matthew Kerr is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Notara. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limits apply only to the extent allowed.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new Effective date will be posted here. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
