Technical Details

Data Storage

Your wellness data is stored using your device's local SQLite database:

Data is encrypted using your device's built-in security
No internet connection required for app functionality
Data persists until you choose to delete it
Automatic backups follow your device's backup settings

Data Export

When you export your data:

Data is formatted as a standard JSON file
Export includes all your journal, gratitude, and saved exercises
File is saved to your device's download folder
You can share this file with healthcare providers if needed
Export process doesn't transmit data to our servers

App Permissions

Zende may request these permissions:

Storage: To save your wellness data locally
Notifications: To send gentle wellness reminders (optional)
Haptics: For breathing rhythm guidance (optional)
No location, camera, microphone, or contact permissions required

Why This Matters
